Ukraine has already recorded 3.51 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of more than 8.6 thousand a day, December 6, almost doubling compared to the previous day. Of those who became ill in the past 24 hours: 716 children and 200 health workers.

The number of those recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"During the day of December 6 in Ukraine recorded 8,655 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - reported in the Ministry of Health.

Also over the past 24 hours:

- hospitalized - 1,349 people;

- fatalities - 467;

- 22,878 people recovered.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

- got sick - 3,510,610 people;

- 3,082,619 people recovered;

- 88,986 deaths;

- 16,119,721 PCR tests were conducted.

During the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (1270), Poltava (716), Donetsk (689), Cherkassy (624) and Kiev (575) regions.

Meanwhile, on December 7, Kiev and eight regions of Ukraine came out of the "red" quarantine zone imposed due to the spread of coronavirus infection. This was announced on Monday by Cabinet Minister Oleg Nemchinov after a meeting of the State Commission on TES and emergencies, writes UNN.

"According to the results of the State Commission decided to cancel the "red" level of epidemic danger in the territory of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lugansk, Lviv, Odessa, Rivne, Kherson regions and the city of Kiev from 00:00 minutes on December 7, 2021", - wrote Nemchinov in his Telegram-channel.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health reports that nearly 12 million people in Ukraine have already received a full course of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 since late February. At the same time, a total of 25.7 million were vaccinated, of which in the last 24 hours - about 189 thousand, most - the second dose.
