Air-raid sirens sound in Lviv and Kiev

In the morning, air-raid sirens sounded in Kiev and Lviv. Residents of the cities are urged to hide in shelters.

 

In particular, in Kiev, sirens could be heard in Vynohradar, Poznyaki, Osokorki, Solomenskyi district, and Podol.

 

Later, the KSCA said that the sirens are not a training alarm.

 

"Attention, this is not a training alarm, a declared air threat! Upon hearing the sirens, head immediately to the nearest shelter! You are reminded that all subway stations are available to people as shelter at any time of day or night during the alarm," the message reads.

 

At the same time, the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovoy said that a siren went off in the city.

 

"Lviv! It is necessary to go for cover! A siren has just sounded, signifying an air-raid alarm," he wrote on Telegram.

 

Recall, in Kiev on the night of February 25, there were powerful explosions, which were clearly heard by residents of the left bank of the capital and the Vinogradar district. Before the explosions the sound of an airplane flying by was heard.
