Ukraine's allies need to form a naval coalition to help lift Russia's blockade of ports in the Black Sea. This will prevent the impending food crisis. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said this in a commentary to The Guardian.

"Time is very, very short. We are approaching a new harvest season, and there is no other practical way to export grain except through the Black Sea port of Odessa," Landsbergis stressed.

At the same time, he noted that now it is extremely important to show the poor countries of the world the readiness to take serious steps to prevent a food crisis.
