The Munich prosecutor's office has confiscated three properties (private apartments) since June 14, as well as a bank account, which received monthly rent payments of about 3,500 euros.

 

The defendant in the case is a deputy of the Russian State Duma, whose name is not disclosed. His wife is registered at her place of residence in Munich.

 

 

The reason for the investigation and confiscation was that the deputy voted for a resolution calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the independence of the so-called LNR and DNR.

 

"The accused L. and K. are joint owners of two apartments in Munich and even after sanctions were imposed on the accused L. continued to receive income from renting the apartments in violation of sanctions. In the course of the investigation it turned out that the defendant K. The investigation revealed that the defendant K. had also been receiving constant rental income from a third apartment in Munich, and that she was the sole owner of this property. As the wife of L., who is on the list, and therefore falls under the sanctions herself," the materials of the case say.
