Norway to transfer MLRS launchers to Ukraine - mass media

Norway, in cooperation with Britain, will send Ukraine three MLRS multiple rocket launchers, local media reported Wednesday.

 

"Ukraine needs more weapons, and we could not provide the much-needed capability without close cooperation with Britain," said Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.

 

MLRS M270 units are currently in storage in Norway. They will be taken out of storage

 

Oslo will also transfer another 5,000 grenades to Kyiv - in addition to the previously sent 5,000.
