Zelensky had a reaction to Johnson's resignation

The Office of the President thanked British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who announced his resignation, for recognizing the threat of the "radio frequency monster" and for always being at the forefront of support for Ukraine.

Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President, wrote this on Twitter.

"To be a leader is to call Russian evil evil and to take responsibility in the most difficult times. To be a leader is to be the first to arrive in Kyiv despite rocket fire. Thank you, Boris Johnson," he wrote.

Podolyak said that in difficult times there is always an opportunity to manifest the worst or best qualities of one's character.

"It's an opportunity to abandon the stereotypes of what we thought was normal yesterday. Unfortunately, here's all the normality from yesterday here's all the 'realpolitik' has led to a monster showing its worst traits. A monster came to a sovereign state and started destroying everything here and killing people en masse. Mr. Johnson is a man who immediately began to call things by their proper names, who immediately suggested that global politics change principles and become more responsible and not pretend that this is some little conflict situation," he said.

The adviser to the OP head stressed that thanks to Johnson, Ukraine has everything it needs for an effective defense of the country.

"This includes weapons, partnership, and a coalition. It is thanks to Mr. Johnson that we understand that victory is really a symbol of the future in Ukraine. Victory will be for us because the civilized world is completely pro-Ukrainian. That is why we are very grateful to our partners, to Mr. Johnson for being able to do our job effectively," he added.
