Turkey believes that a new security structure will be formed in Europe because of the war in Ukraine. Ankara has already started to prepare for this.

Turkish Foreign Minister believes that the war in Ukraine has forced the EU to think. Ankara, in his opinion, is a "strong partner" for the EU, so Brussels needs its help.

In addition, Çavuşoğlu stressed that Turkey is already preparing for a new security system in Europe.

"This war will end sooner or later. The main thing for us is to protect common interests. In the process of forming a new security architecture in Europe, we need to act very thoughtfully. Turkey is already preparing for this today," he said.

According to Financial Times the West is alarmed by the cooperation of Turkey and Russia. In Brussels they are thinking of imposing sanctions against Ankara if it becomes a platform for trade with Russia.
