As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 363 children died, more than 718 were injured, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
"As of the morning of August 20, 2022, more than 1,081 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 363 children were killed and more than 718 were injured of various degrees of severity. The most affected children were in the Donetsk region - 377, Kharkiv - 202 , Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 61, Mykolayiv – 61, Kherson– 55, Zaporizhzhya – 41,” said the message published on the Telegram channel.
These numbers are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
