The Ukrainian military prevented the Russian occupiers from advancing in Donetsk region and repelled all enemy assaults. At the same time, our defenders made successful attacks on the enemy. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
During October 4, the Ukrainian military repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Mayorsk, Vyimka, Spirne, Ozeryanivka, Zaitseve, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Vesele, Pershotravneve and Novomykhailivka.
At the same time, our fighters with the help of aviation made 12 strikes. Hits against 2 strongholds, 8 places of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy were confirmed.
The situation in certain areas:
the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly;
in the Siverskyi direction, shelling was recorded in the area of the settlement of Pysarivka, Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansk direction, there were enemy attacks in the areas of Strilka, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, Olkhovatka and Dvorichna settlements;
in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is regrouping its units;
in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled the areas of more than ten settlements with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. In particular, Bilogorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskyi, Mayorsk, Zaitsev and Yakivli;
in the Avdiivsk direction, the infrastructure of the settlements of Avdiivka, Dosvidchene, Pershotravneve, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Kostyantynivka, and Novomykhailivka were damaged by enemy shelling;
in Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya areas of twenty-five settlements, in particular, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Mala Tokmachka and Orihiv, were shelled;
in the Southern Buzka direction, the areas of more than 20 settlements along the contact line were hit by artillery fire.
The General Staff also adds that objects and civilians in more than 12 settlements were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. Among them are Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Andriivka (Dnipropetrovsk region), Bakhmut, Zaliznychne, Voznesensk and Prydniprovske.
At the same time, it is emphasized that the enemy soldiers are demoralized. They leave their positions, go to a safe distance, destroy ammunition stocks, try to destroy bridges and crossings to slow down the pace of the advance of our troops.
