The liberation of five settlements in the Beryslav district of the Kherson region actually leveled the front line, which approaches the battles for Beryslav and its suburbs. This was announced by Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, during a briefing.

 "These are settlements that actually level the front line, because we all remember that the counteroffensive actions that began a little more than a week ago and our armed forces advanced along the Dnieper from Osokorivka to Dudchan along the Dnieper bank. If we are talking about the Ingulets River, then from Visokopill to Davydova Brod through Velika Oleksandrivka, Mala Oleksandrivka, actually forming such a cauldron. The liberation of today's five settlements is drawing a line and is actually leveling the front, i.e. the entire cauldron, where the Rashists were taken, has been cleared by our Armed Forces today," Khlan said.

 He noted that the front line is actually aligned and approaching the battles for Berislav and the suburbs of Berislav.

 "What is Beryslav famous for? This is a city that comes to control the Kakhov Dam on the right bank of the Dnieper. This is very important, because the occupiers have arranged temporary crossings there through the Kakhovka HPP lock, although not in full, but they can transfer and reinforce something there, and have established alternative crossings near Nova Kakhovka. That's why control over Berislav and access to the Kakhovskaya HPP dam is strategic, very important, and our Armed Forces almost came close to controlling these territories," Khlan said.
