Nuland: To ensure Putin's defeat, Biden asked for $37 billion for Ukraine

US President Joe Biden asked Congress to approve additional aid to Ukraine. The amount of which is 37 billion dollars.

Deputy US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland announced this during the Kyiv Security Forum (KBF).

"Just now, President Biden asked Congress for an additional package of $37 billion so that Ukraine not only survives these trials, but also flourishes as a sovereign, protected and democratic country, and Putin has suffered a strategic defeat," Nuland said.

She emphasized that attempts by the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, to commit conquests, war crimes and nuclear blackmail, as well as attempts to weaponize hunger or freeze Ukrainians with the arrival of winter, must be repelled and defeated.

"If this does not happen, the world will become much more dangerous," Nuland said, stressing that the US will help Ukraine as much as it needs.
