As part of a record aid package, Estonia gives Ukraine all its 155 mm howitzers

As part of the record package of military aid to Ukraine announced last week, Estonia is handing over all available 155 mm howitzers.

This was announced by the Estonian ambassador to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk.

"We are giving all our 155 mm howitzers to Ukraine. And we want to create a precedent in this way so that other countries will not have any excuses why they cannot provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons to win the war," - said Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk.

The ambassador also announced the list of weapons, which coincides with the information previously published in the Estonian media: these are "dozens" of 155-mm FH-70 and 122-mm D-30 howitzers; thousands of 155 mm artillery shells; hundreds of M2 "Karl-Gustaf" anti-tank grenade launchers with ammunition; means of supporting artillery units.

The total volume of Estonian military aid to Ukraine has already exceeded 1% of Estonia's GDP.

As reported, Denmark is giving Ukraine all 19 Caesar howitzers it ordered for itself from France.

Latvia will send Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems, helicopters, machine guns with ammunition and drones to Ukraine.

Finland also announced the provision of a record aid package for Ukraine for 400 million euros. This is more than double the combined cost of previous packages.
