Charles III will be crowned on Saturday, May 6, in a traditional ceremony that includes pageantry and military processions.

 From the very morning, King Charles and everyone involved in the ceremony have a busy schedule. At 6:30 a.m. GMT (9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the doors of London's Westminster Abbey open for parishioners. Later, in central London, the military is expected to line up along the ceremonial route.

 From 8.30 GMT (11.30 Kyiv time) the abbey will await the arrival of foreign governments, after which the royal procession will begin.

 On the way to Westminster Abbey, Charles and his wife Camilla will be accompanied by cavalry units and musicians. They will pass The Mall - a large avenue outside the palace.

 All guests are expected to arrive by 10:00 GMT (13:00 Kyiv time). To the sound of bells, members of the royal procession will proceed to the coronation site, where the two-hour ceremony will begin.

 Charles will be crowned by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. In honor of the coronation in the Tower of London and throughout the capital, throughout the country, in Gibraltar, in Bermuda and on ships on the high seas, fanfare and cannon salutes will be heard.

 At 12:00 GMT (15:00 Kyiv time), the royal couple will leave Westminster Abbey in a carriage to Buckingham Palace. It is noted that Prince William, son and heir of Charles, along with his wife Kate and three children will ride in the first carriage after the king. Other members of the royal family will ride behind.

 According to the schedule, the coronation procession should arrive at Buckingham Palace. Charles and Camilla will go out into the garden, where a royal salute will be heard from representatives of the armed forces.

 After that, the traditional exit of members of the royal family to the balcony of Buckingham Palace is expected.

 At 1:30 p.m. GMT (4:30 p.m. Kyiv time), the official festivities will end with a demonstration flight of modern military aircraft. Later, members of the royal family will gather for an informal family lunch.

 High-ranking delegations have been invited to London, among them will be the Ukrainian one, while the Russian one has not been invited.
