Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is resigning as an MP over the Partygate committee report.

 The House of Commons Privileges Committee accused the former Prime Minister of knowing about Downing Street covid lockdown parties and deliberately misleading Parliament. Boris Johnson believes that the authors of the report in the case did not provide any evidence for this.

 "The Committee's report is riddled with inaccuracies and reeks of prejudice. Their aim from the outset was to impeach me regardless of the facts. It is very sad to leave Parliament, at least for now, I am bewildered and stunned," Johnson said.

 The politician admitted that he misled the parliament, but said that he did it unintentionally.
