The victory of the far-right Geert Wilders' party in the Netherlands threatens to disrupt the Western "fighter jet alliance," for which the supply of Dutch F-16s to Ukraine plays a key role. This was reported by Bild.
As a reminder, the Netherlands promised to give Ukraine all 42 of its F-16 aircraft: most of them directly for the Armed Forces, the rest for training Ukrainian pilots.
"Wilders' Party for Freedom (PVV), which won the election, promised to end military support for Ukraine.
Back in 2018, Wilders tweeted photos of himself visiting the Russian State Duma and gave an interview to the state-run RT TV channel, in which he ridiculed experts' warnings about Vladimir Putin's desire to expand the territory of the Russian Federation and talked about "Russophobia."
