Secret letter: Kornienko revealed the reason for canceling Poroshenko's business trip

First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Kornienko says he canceled the international business trip of People's Deputy and 5th President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after receiving a letter marked "For official use only", the content of which he cannot disclose. Kornienko said this in a commentary to a national news telethon.


"He (Poroshenko - ed.) indicated that the main reason was participation in a non-parliamentary event, a party forum of the International Democratic Union, a community that probably includes "European Solidarity". He wrote that there would be some other high-level meetings in parallel. According to our internal principles, participation in party events is allowed, but when we received a letter from the "For official use only", which I cannot comment on, we were forced to cancel this business trip," Kornienko said.
