Kyiv: The number of victims of a terrorist attack on the DusitD2 hotel in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi, has increased to 15 people.

This is reported by Reuters.

“Despite the statements of the authorities that all the terrorists have been destroyed, and the high-class hotel complex has been completely cleaned, the correspondents of the news agency report otherwise. In the hotel DusitD2 shooting occasionally arises, the area is cordoned off by the security forces,” the message says.

It is reported that the hotel and the staff continue to hide from the killers, some are injured and ask for medical assistance. The exact number of hostages is not known.

We recall that the hotel was attacked by four militants, another blew himself up in the lobby. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Somali group Jamaat Al-Shabab, which is known for a series of terrorist attacks throughout East Africa, particularly in Kenya, by an attack on the Westgate shopping center in Nairobi in 2013, when 67 people died.
