Kiev: The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has detained for two months the former Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories Yuri Grymchak, who is suspected of bribery.

This was reported in the press service of the court.

WAKS granted the request of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and left Grymchak in custody. The court also determined a pledge in the amount of almost 6 million UAH ($ 246 thousand).

His assistant Igor Ovdienko was also extended with detention for 30 days with a pledge of almost 4 million UAH ($ 164 thousand).

Both of them are charged under part 3 of article 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code
