Kyiv: The Ukrainian delegation, consisting of members of the government and the Office of the President, arrived in Berlin, where they will hold talks with German Minister of Defense Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.
“Kramp-Karrenbauer welcomes the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov. Together with him, Minister of Defense Andrei Taran, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and Ambassador Andriy Melnyk. The topic of negotiations is the situation in the Donbass,” the report said.
It is noted that the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and his deputy Ihor Zhovkva also arrived at the talks.
“On the agenda in my folder for our political visit: the de-occupation of the Ordlo and Crimea, Germany’s support for reforms in Ukraine, in particular medical reform, granting Ukraine the status of a member of the NATO Enhanced Opportunity Program, Ukraine’s European integration during Germany’s presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2020; historical issues: the prospect of the Bundestag recognizing the Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian people and the erection of a monument to the Ukrainians who died in World War II; trade and investment between countries, ”said the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba before the meeting.
Earlier it was reported that Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak held talks in Berlin on the topic of Donbass.
