Kyiv: Switzerland imposed sanctions against persons and entities involved in building of Kerch bridge in annexed region of Crimea, official website of SECO (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs) stated on Friday, October 16.
It’s noted that sanction list contains ,,Lenpromtransproekt’’, ,,Management of Construction of Railroad Berkakit-Tommot-Yakutsk’’, ,,Crimean Railroad’’ and ,,First Crimean Insurance Company’’.
Besides that, list includes Aleksandr Ganov, general director of ,,Grand Service Express’’ which carries out railway communication between Russia and illegally annexed Crimea, also Leonid Rizhenkin, vice-director of infrastructure projects of ,,Stroygazmontazh’’ (private limited company), involved in building of bridge through Kerch strait.
In 2018, EU officially sanctioned six Russian companies involved in building of Kerch Bridge. In October of 202, EU enhanced sanctions against participants of bridge construction and added names of two persons and four entities to the ,,black list’’.
