The European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) are preparing to be proactive in the event of Russian aggression. This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.

According to Reznikov, he discussed with his colleagues from the UK and the US the threat of Russia in relation to Ukraine. As a result, the parties came to the conclusion that mere concern about the current situation is no longer enough.

"We really talked to our colleagues from Britain and the United States that there is no more time to express concern, to express concern. Therefore, as I said, the Kremlin has thick and high walls, and it does not hear concerns, it will only perceive active actions," says Reznikov.

According to the Ukrainian Defense Minister, Western partners have assured Ukraine that they are not only ready to really support its territorial integrity, but also to take decisive steps ahead of time.

"I was assured of unconditional support for Ukraine's territorial integrity. I was assured that very serious consultations are taking place between other partners of the Alliance and the EU, the willingness to take very decisive steps, and ahead of time. This will also concern political and economic steps, including certain assistance to Ukraine," Reznikov said.
