From December 1 the service of changing the place of residence online became available on the portal "Diya" for almost the whole of Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Economy of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov.

"Since December 1 we launch the beta test of the change of residence online on the portal "Diya", - said Fedorov.

According to the minister, the service will be available in one working day without visits to institutions and long waits. Six months ago it was already possible to change the place of residence online in Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Vinnitsa, Lutsk, Krivoy Rog and Rivne.

"We are completely transforming the service by removing bureaucracy. You will no longer have to go to your hometown, for example, even if you want to register there," Fedorov noted.

The minister also added that now men do not need to go to the military registration office to get discharged or to register.
