On December 19, the state program "e-Support" initiated by the President of Ukraine will start, aimed at supporting businesses most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic by stimulating demand among citizens. The corresponding decree was adopted at a regular meeting of the government, reports the Government Portal.

"It is very important for the Government to support those businesses that faced great challenges during the pandemic. Giving 1 000 UAH to all Ukrainians who have undergone a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 will not only encourage citizens to be vaccinated, but will also support the most vulnerable sectors, in particular the sphere of culture and sport, the transport industry", - the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko said.

The program provides that all adult citizens of Ukraine, who have undergone a full course of vaccination against COVID-19, will get 1000 UAH from the state. For this money they will be able to buy a membership card to the gym or fitness club, visit cinema, theater, museum, buy air and train tickets within Ukraine and books.

The program will be implemented in several stages. From December 19 the service will be available in mobile application Dia. This is the quickest and easiest way.

At the second stage (3Q 2022) an alternative charging mechanism will be offered, which is being developed now.

To participate in the program, you must:

- Have Ukrainian citizenship;

- Be older than 18 years

- Have "green" COVID vaccination certificate in Diya application.

All those who meet these criteria will be able to open a current "E-support" account with a special usage mode and choose the "e-support" service in Diya app.

Funds are available for 4 months from receipt, and can be spent both online and offline. Banks will recognize the category when paying, so it will be impossible to spend the money for other purposes, transfer it to a card, or withdraw it in cash.

The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The team of the Ministry of Finance is developing the technical part of the service in the application Diya.

Note that since December 19 the service can be received only in the Action application. Therefore, we urge you not to believe the scammers who will offer to spend money in other places or cash the digital cards into cash. Cyber Police will closely monitor all suspicious situations and payouts.
