Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Brussels began the first meeting with the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, reports UNN correspondent.

Thus, the meeting began at about 17:00 Kiev time. At the talks, in addition to the leaders were attended by country delegations. In particular, together with Zelensky, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba participate in the meeting.

It should be noted that Zelensky and Scholz are also scheduled for today's talks with another leader of the "Normandy quartet" - French President Emmanuel Macron.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is on a working visit to Brussels on December 15-16 to participate in the sixth summit of the Eastern Partnership. During the visit, Zelenskyy will hold a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of the EU member states and partner countries, the leadership of the European Union and the Secretary General of NATO.

The Eastern Partnership summit will take place in Brussels on December 15.
