The State Border Committee of Belarus said that Ukraine is allegedly actively and unjustifiably saturating its border with the army units, including those of special operations forces. Accusing our country of "provocations," they said that the Belarusian side could "react.

"Ukraine is actively conducting exercises in the immediate vicinity of the border, the intention of which has all the signs of a full-fledged military operation. Information space is being pumped with openly hostile messages," said the authorized representative of the Committee Anton Bychkovsky.

In particular, an example of such "aggressive behavior" of Ukraine, in his opinion, was the incident with the alleged crash of the Ukrainian military helicopter into the territory of Belarus on December 4.

According to the Belarusian representative, such incidents can lead to "negative consequences".

However, he did not specify what exactly was meant. So far, according to the State Border Committee of Belarus, the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is calm.

"In the event of a threat to national security and continued provocations, the Belarusian side will be forced to respond adequately, including by strengthening protection of the border with Ukraine," the agency said.
