Petro Poroshenko will appeal against the seizure of property - an appeal against the court's decision will be considered on February 3. This was reported by the lawyer of the 5th president, Igor Golovan, writes strana.ua.

He said that the decision to seize the property will be appealed not only by representatives of Poroshenko, but also by those legal persons whose property was illegally seized in the "coal case".

Also Golovan is sure that not all legal entities have yet been notified of the court's decision and have filed appeals.

"Judge Bortnitskaya in turbo mode in favor of the authorities without checking the facts and documents made the decision. During the court session, we asked to understand on what date the list of assets was determined in order to pay attention that not all the assets there already belong to Poroshenko. But the judge was not interested," Golovan said.

We shall remind you that on 19 January, the Pecherskyy district court imposed a measure of restraint on Poroshenko in the "coal case" in the form of personal obligations and also arrested the property of Petro and Maryna Poroshenko.
