No agreement with Russia on a cease-fire, the aggressor's conditions are unchanged - Kuleba ( video)

The talks between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Antalya were complicated. Kuleba said during the follow-up conference that a cease-fire agreement with the Russian side had failed, the aggressor's conditions remained unchanged.

"We cannot stop the war if the country that carried out the aggression, the attack, has no desire to do so. I heard today that the cease-fire is tied by the Russian Federation to the fulfillment of the demands put forward by President Putin for Ukraine. In this regard, I want to reiterate that Ukraine has not surrendered, does not surrender, and will not surrender. We are ready for diplomacy, we are looking for diplomatic solutions, but until we have none, we will selflessly, sacrificing ourselves, defend our land and our people from Russian aggression," Kuleba said.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister expressed hope that the format that took place today will have a continuation. He said he was ready for it if the Russian side was ready for a serious substantive conversation and not to repeat the widespread propaganda cliches and narratives about Ukraine.

"I came to these talks with two tasks. The first is to organize a humanitarian corridor in Mariupol. It is the most difficult city in terms of the humanitarian situation. On the first issue, I sincerely hope that Minister Lavrov will communicate with those in Russia who make such decisions and the humanitarian corridor will work after all," Kuleba added.
