German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said those responsible for war crimes in Ukraine must be punished and promised additional support for the Ukrainian army.

"The pictures from Bucha are unbearable. Putin's rampant violence destroys innocent families and knows no bounds," wrote Berbok.

"The perpetrators of these war crimes must be held accountable. We will tighten sanctions against Russia and give Ukraine even more support in its defense," she added.
