A delegation from the Georgian parliament arrived in Kyiv

A delegation of Georgian parliamentarians led by parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili has arrived in Kyiv. He said this on his Twitter.

"Today in Kyiv together with fellow parliamentarians to convey a message to Georgia: we feel your pain, Georgia supports Ukraine, Georgians are with Ukrainians," Papuashvili wrote.

The parliamentarians left Georgia the day before, on April 15.

In addition to him, the delegation consists of deputies Davit Sergienko, Archil Talakvadze and Levan Ioseliani, the head of the Diaspora Committee Beka Odisharia and representatives of the parties Lelo, Girchi, the Republican Party and For Georgia.

The largest opposition force, the United National Movement, is not represented in the delegation due to the conflict between the UNR and the ruling Georgian Dream, but sent a separate delegation.
