Millions became hostages of the Kremlin: the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to Russia's food blackmail

The Russian Federation continues to block the export of Ukrainian food. Requires the removal of sanctions in exchange for the supply of "its own food.

This was reported by the Twitter account of the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko.

"Now Russia says the West is preventing food exports. They never run out of excuses. Russia's blockade of Ukraine's seaports undermines global food security. If Ukrainian grain is not released, the world will face starvation. Millions of people have become hostages of Moscow's dirty games," Nikolenko wrote.

As a reminder, the day before, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said it was allegedly possible to export tens of millions of tons of "own food" in exchange for the lifting of sanctions against the country.

"Russia is ready to export tens of millions of tons of its own grain if Western bans on its export are lifted," Zakharova said.

The Kremlin is blackmailing the world with the claim that if the West is really worried about the risk of world hunger, it must "stop blocking food supplies.
