Covid in Ukraine went up: the number of infections increased by a third in a week

In Ukraine, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by more than a third over the past week, compared to 1,431 a week earlier. This is evidenced by data from the Center for Public Health.

 

According to the Center for Public Health, a total of 5021612 cases of covid have been recorded in Ukraine.

 

Of these, 1,431 cases were recorded during the current reporting week, compared to 1,056 a week earlier. During the week, an increase of 35.5% was recorded.

 

At the same time during the week of July 11-17 in Ukraine 300 vaccinated people got covid, compared to 215 a week before (+39.5%).

 

The regions with the highest increase in the number of cases are Kiev (112 cases, +89.8%), Rivne (21, +90.9%), Donetsk (16, +128.6%), Chernihiv (15, +150%) and Transcarpathian (84, +200%) regions.

 

At the same time, most cases were registered in Kyiv region (190), Odesa (168), Kyiv region (112), Ivano-Frankivsk region (108) and Transcarpathian region (84).
