COVID-19 cases in Ukraine increased by almost half in a week

In Ukraine, from July 18 to 24, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by almost half, compared to a week earlier - up to 2098. This is evidenced by data from the Center for Public Health.

 

According to CHC, a total of 5,023,710 cases of covID have been registered in Ukraine.

 

Of these, 2,098 cases were recorded during the current reporting week, compared to 1,431 a week earlier. During the week an increase of 46.6% was recorded.

 

At the same time, during the week of July 18-24 in Ukraine, 488 vaccinated persons contracted covid, compared to 300 a week earlier (+62.7%).

 

Most cases during the week were registered in Kyiv region (247), Kyiv region (245), Odesa region (220), Transcarpathian region (173) and Chernivtsi region (158).
