From today, August 1, Ukrainians will start receiving an electronic prescription for antibiotics. Such a possibility will be available in those institutions that are connected to the electronic health system.
This is reported by the Telegram-channel Helsi.me.
If the institution to which the patient applied does not yet work with the electronic health care system, the doctor will have to issue a paper prescription to the patient.
How to get a prescription for an antibiotic:
Contact the doctor's office for an appointment;
after examination, the doctor will write an electronic prescription for an antibiotic, if necessary, and issue an informational note to the patient;
if the institution is not connected to the electronic health care system, the doctor will write the patient a paper prescription;
the electronic prescription appears in Helsi;

"In areas of combat operations or temporarily occupied territories, pharmacies will continue to be able to dispense antibiotics to patients without a doctor's prescription," writes the Helsi press service.
