Sale of cars intended for the army - in Prikarpattya employees of a charitable organization were exposed while selling humanitarian aid

Under the procedural guidance of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office the officials of one of the charitable organizations were exposed for illegal sale of humanitarian aid during martial law (part 3 Article 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

 

Representatives of charitable organization imported to the customs territory of Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid commodity-material values and vehicles. They did not use them for their intended purpose, but sold them for profit.

 

 During the investigation the facts of selling of three vehicles, imported to Ukraine as the humanitarian aid for 20000 US dollars were documented.

 

During the search 11 vehicles, acts of acceptance of gratuitous humanitarian aid, foreign registration documents for the said vehicles were discovered and seized.
