Ship with Ukrainian grain could not leave the Black Sea port - Turkish Ministry of Defense

A ship that was to leave the port of Chernomorsk today to ship Ukrainian grain was unable to make the voyage. In particular, due to bad weather.

This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey on Twitter.

"Two ships that were inspected yesterday are on their way to Ukraine. Loading of ships in Ukrainian ports continues," the message reads.

Recall that the export of Ukrainian grain takes place in accordance with the "grain agreement" concluded between Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN. The coordination center in Istanbul is entrusted with the control over the work of maritime corridor and security of the operation.

Thus, on August 6, three dry-cargo ships with Ukrainian grain departed from the ports of Odessa. This is the first such caravan within the grain deal. The final destination of each vessel is separate - Turkey, Great Britain and Ireland.

In addition, two more ships with food left Ukrainian ports on August 8.
