Ukraine received 200 million euros of a soft loan from Italy: how the money will be used

On September 15, 2022, Ukraine received a 200-million-euro soft loan from the Italian Republic. The funds will be used to provide wage subsidies for teachers at secondary educational institutions.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

According to the terms of the loan agreement, the money is given for zero interest rate for 15 years (taking into account the grace period during which the loan is to be repaid - 7.5 years).

Since the start of the full-scale war, foreign partners provided Ukraine with 14 billion dollars. By the end of the year, the Ministry of Finance expects to receive another $12-16 billion.
