Canada will give Ukraine 450 million Canadian dollars (close to 350 million U.S. dollars) for the purchase of gas before the heating season.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal.

"A solidarity with friendly Canada. Ukraine will receive 450 million Canadian dollars in aid for the purchase of gas before the heating season," Denis Schmigal wrote on Twitter.

We would like to remind you that the G7 is waiting for Ukraine to appoint Naftogaz as a heating season treatment facility.

According to Energy Minister German Galushchenko, the use of natural gas in Ukraine decreased by 40% due to the Russian invasion.
