Germany will deliver four more Panzerhaubitze 2000 to Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Germany announced that it will deliver four more Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery installations to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the department on Monday.

"Despite its own difficult financial situation, the Bundeswehr will provide Ukraine with four more artillery guns - self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000, with an additional package of ammunition. The supply will become possible after discussions with industry on the issue of the fastest possible supply of repaired guns from the overhaul program." it is stated in the message of the ministry.

Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said that this will increase the number of high-performance guns supplied by Germany to Ukraine to 14. Together with the howitzers supplied by the Netherlands, the number of self-propelled guns transferred to Ukraine will increase to 22.

"Ukraine highly praises this system and expressed a desire to receive more howitzers. To further support Ukraine in its courageous fight against the brutal invasion of Russia, Germany will fulfill this request and provide four more such self-propelled howitzers," Lambrecht said.
