The head of Ukrenergo: the energy system of Ukraine has already passed the most difficult stage after the mass shelling

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the head of the board of NEC "Ukrenergo", said that the Ukrainian energy system has already passed the most difficult stage after the last massive shelling of Ukraine and has been re-connected with the EU. He announced this during the telethon.

"We can say that the situation is improving, and our energy system has already passed the most difficult stage after this attack. All day and all night in the control center of "Ukrenergo" they were engaged in essentially stitching the system together, ensuring its integrity. Currently, the energy system is integrated, all regions are healed, it is connected to the energy system of the European Union," said Kudrytskyi.

According to him, all three nuclear power plants located on the territory controlled by Ukraine are also working and gaining power. Kudrytsky predicts that in 1-2 days they will reach their normal planned capacity.

"We are very much looking forward to when we will be able to transfer our consumers together with oblenergo to scheduled schedules instead of emergency schedules," said the manager.
