The Russians can shift all the blame for the invasion of Ukraine to the dictator Vladimir Putin, but only when he loses power.

 Andriy Chernyak, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

 He emphasized that the importance of forming a business-political elite, which is considering the overthrow of the dictator, is growing every day in Russia. One of the examples is the recording of a conversation between "fans of the regime" between Joseph Prigozhin and Farkhad Akhmetov, where they criticized the actions of the Kremlin.

 "This leak (of the audio recording - ed.) is one of the clear testimonies that the split within the so-called Kremlin elites is not a scenario, but an accomplished fact. The depth of this split and the readiness of certain groups to act is another matter," Chernyak clarified.

 According to him, dissatisfaction among the population of the Russian Federation is now also growing "with each new shipment of black bags." But it is still too early to talk about the inevitability of protests due to propaganda influence and fear of repression.

 Chernyak believes that the drop in support for Putin's actions among the population will occur only after the dictator ceases to rule.

 "The removal of the dictator may lead to the fact that the majority of the Russian population, which in the neo-imperial fallout supported an aggressive war, will beat their chests and swear in the eternal opposition of the regime. This has already happened more than once in Russian history, when all sins were attributed to a dead or incapacitated leader , disasters and crimes," added the representative of the MIA.

 It will be recalled that MIA previously told that Putin's successor is already being sought after the decision of the Hague court to issue a warrant for his arrest.
