Azerbaijan handed over draft peace treaty to Armenia as part of Nagorno-Karabakh talks

Azerbaijan says it is holding talks with Armenia on Nagorno-Karabakh. Baku claims to have handed over a draft peace treaty to Yerevan. This was announced by the representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special tasks, Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov during an interview with Sky News Arabia.


He emphasized that the negotiations are based on the principle of mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each party.


The ambassador also added that the reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh is an internal affair of Azerbaijan, and these issues have nothing to do with Armenia.
