The U.S. will sign a new Strategic Partnership Charter with Ukraine

The United States plans to sign a new charter of strategic partnership with Ukraine in November. This was announced by the representative of the U.S. Department of State Ned Price, reports UNN with reference to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.

"The U.S. administration considers it necessary to sign a new Strategic Partnership Charter with Ukraine in November this year to reflect modern realities," the statement said.

Price said the charter needs to be updated to speak to the challenges of the 21st century.

Ned Price also noted that U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will host Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Nov. 10 this year.

"That is when the parties plan to sign a new charter," the report noted.

Recall that following the meeting at the White House in September, Zelensky and Biden, the parties issued a joint statement on the strategic partnership. It stated, among other things, that Ukraine and the United States would activate the Strategic Partnership Commission (SPC), which would be reoriented and resourced to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
