Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that ZNPP is being shelled by Russian tanks in equipment with thermal imaging cameras and discussed the issues with the IAEA.
"Europe should wake up now - Europe's largest nuclear power plant is on fire. Right now Russian tanks are shelling the nuclear units. These tanks are equipped with thermal imaging cameras, which means they know where they are shooting, they have been preparing for this," Volodymyr Zelensky said in a statement on social media.
The President also said that he had already contacted the partner countries (Joe Biden, Andrzej Duda, Charles Michel and others) of many countries and the IAEA.
As a reminder, as a result of the occupant's shelling, there was a fire at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
