The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the line of contact on March 24, the "Information Staff of Nagorno-Karabakh." This was reported by the Armenian service of Radio Liberty.
According to Yerevan, women and children were evacuated from Khramort village of Askeran region for security reasons.
The "Information Headquarters" later reported that the situation in the villages of Parukh and Khramort is under the control of the Russian peacekeeping contingent stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"As a result of negotiations and additional security means, the advance of the Azerbaijani armed forces has so far been stopped, but the enemy has still not returned to their original positions," the headquarters said in a statement.
At the same time, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies the Armenian side's claims.
"Armenian sources' reports about alleged aggravation of the situation on the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, do not correspond to reality. Positions and deployment locations are being clarified at the points and there have been no clashes or incidents," the ministry said.
The village of Khramort became a border village after the war in 2020, when the Aghdam district came under Azerbaijani control.
