"The president had a telephone conversation with President Steinmeier. After that, the president of Ukraine received the president of the Bundestag in Kyiv, received the foreign minister, and also had a conversation with Federal Chancellor Scholz yesterday," Sibiga said.He added that this is "extremely important" because the countries "have a clear understanding of common interests."

 

"There are common assessments of the challenges that both Europe and Ukraine face today. We clearly understand the algorithm of interaction and we expect further visits of German leaders, both the president and the chancellor to Kyiv," he said.
