Ukraine has established alternative routes for food delivery to Africa

Ukraine has managed to establish two alternative land routes to deliver food to Africa. This will help save the continent from hunger.

This statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter.

"Russia is putting millions of people at risk of starvation by blocking our ports. Together with partners, Ukraine has established two alternative land routes to deliver food exports and save Africa and other regions from starvation," he said.

Russia, Kuleba said, must lift the blockade to allow full and free exports.

West Africa is now experiencing the worst food crisis in history, caused by conflict and drought. Russia's invasion of Ukraine has raised prices and reduced the availability of food.
