Russia's largest gas field was on fire

In Russia, a fire broke out on the territory of the Urengoy gas field in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District due to a pipe rupture. This was reported by the Russian media.

 

As noted, a pipe with a diameter of 1.4 meters broke between gas fields 7-8 in the section of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy.

 

"The fire has already been localized. The work is carried out in normal mode," the press service of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy reported.

 

The Urengoy field belongs to the largest in the world. It holds reserves of up to 10 trillion cubic meters of gas.
