The number of war-affected children has increased: new data

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 968 children have been injured. The number of victims is 341 children and the number of wounded is 627.

The most affected children in the Donetsk region - 338, Kharkiv region - 183, Kyiv region - 116, Chernihiv region - 68, Lugansk region - 58, Kherson region - 52, Mykolaiv region - 48, Zaporizhzhia region - 31, Sumy region - 17.

 

According to the ministry, on June 28, the occupants shelled civilian infrastructure in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, which injured a 9-year-old boy.

 

In addition, on June 28, a 3-month-old infant and girls aged 14 and 15 were wounded as a result of rocket attacks by Russian forces in Ochakiv, Mykolayiv region.

 

It also became known that on 27 June, a 15-year-old boy blew himself up on a grenade during debris removal in the central district of Mariupol, injuring himself as a result.

 

We shall remind you that the occupants illegally deported more than 300,000 children to Russia.
