British Foreign Secretary considers it realistic to recapture the entire territory of Ukraine

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has said that the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine is a realistic goal.

She said this on the air of BBC radio.

"All that territory in Ukraine that Russia has seized is illegally occupied. And in the end, the Russians have to be forced out of all that territory," Truss said.

Asked whether the British government believes Russia can be forced out of all of Ukraine within a foreseeable period of time, she said: "It is realistic, and that is why we are providing additional lethal assistance."
