Putin again wanted to negotiate with Ukraine "on his own terms"

The Russian Federation is allegedly ready for peace talks with Ukraine. But only on the conditions of the Russian side.

RIA Novosti reported that, quoting presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"Russia has been and remains ready to resolve the Ukrainian problem diplomatically on its own terms. And here it is appropriate to remind once again that these conditions were agreed upon in Istanbul, and they were agreed upon by both sides - the negotiators of Russia and Ukraine," Peskov said.

According to him, the Ukrainian side allegedly "rejected" these conditions, which "itself knows." At the same time, Peskov himself does not specify what he means.

"One way or another they will be secured," believes the Russian dictator's press secretary.

As a reminder, as of now, there are no talks between Ukraine and Russia to end the war.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that it is inappropriate to negotiate with Russia in the current situation. According to him, "until the Russians get a punch in the face, they won't understand anything."

At the same time, the Russian side wanted broader negotiations with Ukraine after the "grain deal".
